Are you interested in an ICC based at Whyalla?

In early 2019, a spoke of the Adelaide Innovation & Collaboration Centre will be opened in Whyalla on the UniSA campus.

The innovation hub will create a dynamic pathway for innovative startups to reach their global capacity by providing educational workshops combined with fast gigabit network speeds and injecting expert mentors.

The Whyalla business community will benefit from a suite of training forums led by professionals with a track record of driving a local innovation into an international market. In addition to startup activity the centre will provide support to local businesses looking to grow by providing a hub for their activity, with access to a global network and a series of workshops and other activities to support those businesses.

The hub will deliver a range of programs, events and activities to enthuse the community, nurture startups and help businesses grow globally:

  • Hackathons and Startup Weekends to act as a brainstorm forum for the aspiring community
  • Startup programs such as Venture Catalyst which provides structured business support and mentoring to founders
  • Founder Talks and community events to develop a healthy and vibrant ecosystem where knowledge and experience can be transferred.
