Aardant

In Australia, access to allied health services such as occupational therapy is increasingly challenging. Barriers like long wait times affect over 600,000 National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and 1.5 million aged care participants. With both cohorts expected to grow exponentially in coming years, the pressure on an already stretched system is set to increase.

Ardant’s mission is to transform access to allied health services in Australia through innovative technology to address the critical needs of the healthcare system, such as improving wait times and minimising administrative burdens. The company is poised to transform the allied health sector by enhancing access, efficiency, and care quality.

  • Helping allied health therapists transition smoothly to independent practice.
  • A supportive, expert community offering diverse practice streams across Australia.
  • Linking clients with the best practitioners to address their unique care requirements.
  • Streamlining administration and boosting clinician availability for faster allied health services.

Ardant uses technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation to radically improve access to allied health services in Australia. The platform serves as a digital marketplace that connects allied health professionals with clients, significantly reducing the administrative burden on therapists by automating tasks like referrals, contracting and invoicing.

By outsourcing non-clinical tasks, Ardant allows therapists to operate as independent contractors without the overhead of administrative work. The core of Ardant’s solution is the strategic use of technology to reposition administrative workload away from healthcare providers, enhancing efficiency and care capacity.

Designed for scalability, Ardant can extend vertically in response to the growing number of occupational therapists in Australia, as well as new partnerships with funding schemes beyond NDIS and aged care. Ardant is also primed to evolve horizontally to accommodate other allied health professionals, of which there are more than 200,000 registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Ardant is seeking partnerships with healthcare providers, NDIS and aged care organisations, professional associations, and technology partners to streamline service delivery. The company are looking for allied health professionals who can assist with problem validation, platform testing and feedback, and getting involved in the co-development process.
