Since 2015, the Innovation & Collaboration Centre has supported early-stage startups through providing workspace, mentoring and funding. Read more about our staff and our startups.

The Innovation & Collaboration Centre is home to Venture Catalyst and the state's first space incubator program Venture Catalyst Space. These programs are designed to help founders start their business.

The ICC holds regular feature events on a range of cutting-edge topics for the ICC community and the public, community events for ICC startups, industry experts and other close partners and affiliates, and internal events exclusively for ICC startups.

BioSky Space

BioSky Space was founded in India to deliver business-relevant Earth intelligence to the Global South and beyond. They harness satellite data, AI, and domain science to build advanced solutions—starting with renewable energy—to address critical infrastructure and energy challenges across emerging markets. The team combines expertise in space technology, research, and industry to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Actionable earth intelligence for industries in the Global South
  • Real-time, high-resolution insights for faster, smarter business decisions
  • User-friendly platform with transparent, affordable pricing
  • Enables data-driven strategies to optimize business operations and reduce risks.

BioSky Space develops AI-powered Earth intelligence solutions tailored for the Global South where atmospheric dynamics differ significantly from mid-latitude regions. Existing space-based models often fail to capture the hyperlocal variability and infrastructure complexity seen across tropical and sub-tropical zones. Their technology integrates high-resolution satellite sensing with region-specific models and proprietary algorithms to deliver accurate, business-ready insights. Unlike generic global platforms, they focus on creating vertically integrated solutions starting with renewable energy, where precision and local adaptation are critical for impact and scalability.

BioSky are focused on high-growth renewable energy markets in the Global South, providing intelligence to energy developers, grid operators, and infrastructure asset owners. Their technology supports better planning, investment, and operational decisions. They also see strong potential to expand into mining, aviation, urban systems, and climate risk applications.

Other potential markets are distributed hybrid power generation for electric aviation range extension along with domestic, distributed and decentralised energy production, among others.

The team are seeking partnerships for market access in sectors like renewable energy, mining, and aviation where Earth intelligence can unlock significant value. They also welcome collaboration with research institutions and companies in remote sensing, weather modelling, and sensor development to accelerate their product innovation and deployment roadmap.
