The Innovation & Collaboration Centre is home to Venture Catalyst and the state's first space incubator program Venture Catalyst Space. These programs are designed to help founders start their business.

What does that get you? You, as a student, get the opportunity to chat directly to the people who actively have opportunities for internships or employment, where these businesses deliver a three-minute pitch to YOU on what they’re looking for in a team member.
EcoJet Engineering is a small privately owned Adelaide-based company developing novel microturbine engines from the ground up to solve current and emerging energy issues using cutting edge technology. Rapid exploration, design and prototyping is achieved through agile engineering approaches. Current focuses include deployable microturbine generators for Civilian and Defence applications as well as carbon-neutral power for the residential and commercial markets. ecoJet offers hands-on experience for engineers and professionals in solving real-world challenges.
ecoJet is looking for practical problem solvers who are trusted to perform, enjoy a challenge and are able to take measured risks and adapt to changing environments. We are seeking engineers and professionals with mechanical/aerospace or project management backgrounds who are looking to apply their expertise to real world problems.
Framework are building an all-in-one tool for teams and individuals operating businesses. Framework is a flexible cloud software that can be used for project management, sales pipelines & customer relationship management, wiki & documentation, team communication (team chat, voice & video calls), roadmaps, planning & more.

StarkNEX is an early-stage startup based in Adelaide, South Australia that is working on building Cyber Security Solutions and providing Cyber Security Services. “Idea to MVP” is the second part of our ‘Student 2 Startup’ series of events taking place across October, November and December. All of our ‘Student to Startup events count toward your UniSA+ Award, an award recognising students who actively participate in relevant career focused co-curricular activities. All events are FREE for UniSA students and $10 for any other kinds of students wanting to attend.

The ICC is bringing in three former UniSA student /entrepreneurs to tell their stories on how they brought their idea into existence and startup to a “minimum viable product” (An MVP is a version of a product with just enough features to be usable by early customers who can then provide feedback for future product development). After a successful internship in her last semester of the Bachelor of Marketing, Charmain joined Taste Studios as a Marketing Coordinator and began heading her own food and hospitality innovations with BYO Foods at the ICC, creating small-batch, high-end food and beverage products for hotels, cafés and restaurants under customisable packaging and labelling.

A co-founder and director of EcoJet Engineering, James’ specialties include pushing the boundaries of microturbine technologies to enable next generation deployable, on-demand and clean power generation as well as exploring relevant adjacent emergent technologies.
Lindon Lark, Founder, Blend Etiquette
Lindon has grown Blend Etiquette from humble beginnings to his self-sustaining distillery which is home to a 300-litre copper pot still and a team of likeminded innovators.
