With Easter and ANZAC Day, April has been a blur at the ICC, with the all important selection process for the 2025 Venture Catalyst Programs a key focus. We look forward to welcoming the new cohort next month and sharing with you the exciting startups that will join the ICC community this year.
As we move through our tenth year of the ICC, a milestone worth celebrating, we are putting together a collection of key moments. If you have any particularly fond memories with the ICC, be they anecdotes, photos or videos, please send them through to us as we look to capture a holistic view of the ICC's 10-year history.
Don't forget if you have some news to share, send it through to us so that we can join in and share your team's success.
Huge news for 2024 Venture Catalyst Space alum, OmnigenIQ, who have been sponsored by Wilson Sonsini to present at their Life Sciences Investor Forum in Silicon Valley in early May.
Wilson Sonsini have represented companies such as Apple, Google, LinkedIn, and recently Twitter in the transaction involving Elon Musk's $44 billion take-private bid. We're wishing Jordana, Tiff, and the team all the best and can't wait to hear all about it when they get back.
Robinson Aerospace is teaming up with Egress Space for parabolic flight research in SA. The partnership will see Robinson's RASCube educational satellite onboard Egress' L39C Albatros jet, simulating space conditions for research and component testing. Combined with their recent collaboration with Fleet Space to deliver the LaunchBox program, Australia's Launchpad for Future Space Leaders, and the fact that Ed is currently hiring, Robinson Aerospace have been kicking goals left, right, and centre.
The ICC are thrilled to announce that many of our Venture Catalyst Space Alum have been nominated for some exciting awards.
AICRAFT has been named as a finalist in the Australian Space Awards for Start-up of the Year, while ESpy's program “From Space to Billabong: Saving the Purple Spotted Gudgeon” is a finalist for Earth Observation Program of the Year. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 28 May.
Meanwhile, Paladin Space and Blue Dwarf have been recognised in the Core Innovation Hub Hot 30 for 2025, joined by Innovation Leaders Network program participant, CoilRig.
