Programs
The Innovation & Collaboration Centre is home to Venture Catalyst and the state's first space incubator program Venture Catalyst Space. These programs are designed to help founders start their business.
Events
The ICC holds regular feature events on a range of cutting-edge topics for the ICC community and the public, community events for ICC startups, industry experts and other close partners and affiliates, and internal events exclusively for ICC startups.
It’s hard to believe that we’re halfway through this year’s Venture Catalyst programs. While it's early days for our founders, they are busily talking to potential customers, refining business models, validating ideas, and iterating their solutions. All of our founders have made great progress. Below is a snapshot of just some of the highlights so far.
Precision Digital Health has won two grants, GroundZero Space will present a paper at this year's IAC in Sydney (details below). Arterial has successfully concluded its first pilot. Genetic Labs Australia continues to broaden its product offering and expand its customer base. AFTDynamics continues to progress its novel rocket engine design, finding new applications in space and on Earth, and Angelina from Fleurieu Made has returned from her fact finding mission at Berlin Fashion Week in her quest to improve sustainability in the textiles industry.
We look forward to seeing what comes next.
Some of South Australia’s most promising space startups will join up to 10,000 international delegates in Sydney next month for the International Astronautical Congress, the world’s largest space event.
A huge congratulations to the teams at TABOO (Techstars participant) and Omniwell (Venture Catalyst alum) on being named as winners at the Fearless Innovators Awards night. Sylvia from Omniwell, and Eloise from TABOO both picked up mentoring and consultancy support packages, to help them continue to grow their businesses.
AICRAFT hosted researchers and industry partners in McLaren Vale to discuss how their edge computing solution could be used for agriculture to improve big data processing in vineyards as well as for broader agricultural contexts, demonstrating the value that space technology and innovations can have on Earth.
