Programs
The Innovation & Collaboration Centre is home to Venture Catalyst and the state's first space incubator program Venture Catalyst Space. These programs are designed to help founders start their business.
Events
The ICC holds regular feature events on a range of cutting-edge topics for the ICC community and the public, community events for ICC startups, industry experts and other close partners and affiliates, and internal events exclusively for ICC startups.
As our 11 startups have begun their Venture Catalyst journey, the ICC office is a hive of activity thanks to its latest, eager founders. With introductions by the Australian Space Agency, and DefenceSA, along with sessions on IP from Madderns, legals and compliance from HWL Ebsworth, and workshops on networking skills, customer discovery, and team building, this year's Venture Catalyst program is off to a flying start.
June has also been a big month for our alumni community with some great wins. Read on below to discover the latest VCS alum who has made it into orbit.
Last week, aboard a SpaceX launch in the US, the Robinson Aerospace Systems RASCube made it to the Earths lower atmosphere. In orbit it will perform experiments designed by students from seven countries, encouraging kids to dive into science.
You can find out more about Edward Robinson's journey to this point in this InDaily article.
You may have noticed two familiar faces amongst the InDaily 40 under 40 list. Two Venture Catalyst alumni have topped the list, Edward Robinson of Robinson Aerospace Systems, took out the Emerging Industries Award, and founder of Taste Studios, Ricky Chau has been recognised as a finalist.
A huge thank you to our wonderful industry experts who came to the ICC last week to meet our new Venture Catalyst Space and General startup founders. As a community, the time you dedicate, along with the support and advice you give, makes a huge difference to all of our founders.
We look forward to more great conversations at our community events throughout the rest of the program.
