Programs
The Innovation & Collaboration Centre is home to Venture Catalyst and the state's first space incubator program Venture Catalyst Space. These programs are designed to help founders start their business.
South Australia’s space sector is continuing to grow, with new space companies from around the world annouced in the fifth round of companies accepted into the ICC's Venture Catalyst Space program. Four local companies have joined those from India, Canada and New Zealand.
After almost 10 years leading the ICC, we bid farewell to our leader Jasmine Vreugdenburg who is taking up an opportunity interstate. Jasmine established the ICC in 2015 and has worked tirelessly to support startups for the duration of her time at the ICC. We welcome Craig Jones into the role of Deputy Director: Business Incubation.
Former Venture Catalyst Space company HEX20 have recently collaborated with the UAE Space Agency, and are currently building a 3U cubesat mission for the National Central Universitty in Taiwan.
The ICC will take seven Australian startups to India in April as part of the Australia-India Space Alliance, a startup and exchange trade program. The startups will travel from Adelaide, Perth and New South Wales to several parts of India on the tour, to encourage knowledge sharing and accelerate business in both countries. The tour is the culmination of six months of online networking events and will be followed by a demonstration day for the companies involved. More information to come.
