Congratulations to Paladin Space — a Venture Catalyst Space alumni — on being awarded the South Australian Department of State Development's $100,000 Seed-Start grant!
The grant will help advance their world-leading reusable space debris removal technology, aimed at minimising the hazards posed to spacecraft by orbital debris such as defunct satellites, rocket parts, and smaller debris floating in Earth's orbit.
After six years, Taste Studios have moved out of the ICC to a bigger space! Graduates of the 2019 Venture Catalyst program, the team has grown to 9 people and won numerous accolades. We wish them all the best at their new digs!
Venture Catalyst Space alumni Safety From Space, alongside global researchers, are developing a distress monitoring and rescue system for astronauts exploring the Moon's most remote areas.
Congratulations to SiteSeer, one of our current Venture Catalyst participants, on being one of 20 startups accepted into CSIRO's ON Accelerate Boot Camp!
Congratulations to AICRAFT on signing an MoU with Tron Future, a Taiwanese company focusing on radar imaging. AICRAFT will help with onboard processing of their future satellites.
We're incredibly proud to see Venture Catalyst Space alumni ESpy Ocean and their White Shark Behavioural Predictive AI featured on 10 First news! ESpy Ocean's cutting-edge technology is revolutionising how we keep people safe in our waters and is aiming to be operational by next summer.
Congratulations HEX20, Venture Catalyst Space alumni, on another successful partnership, this time with Dcubed. HEX20's spacecraft will carry Dcubed’s latest generation of actuators for an in-orbit demonstration in early 2025. The team is also in the process of setting up a subsidiary in Taiwan.
SASIC has opened the second round of the South Australian Space Collaboration and Innovation Fund.
One grant of up to $320,000 will be available to support one South Australian-based company in collaboration with at least one international partner.

Applications close on 2 February 2025.
