Programs
The Innovation & Collaboration Centre is home to Venture Catalyst and the state's first space incubator program Venture Catalyst Space. These programs are designed to help founders start their business.
Events
The ICC holds regular feature events on a range of cutting-edge topics for the ICC community and the public, community events for ICC startups, industry experts and other close partners and affiliates, and internal events exclusively for ICC startups.
This week, several Venture Catalyst Space alumni are taking centre stage at the largest international space convention in Sydney, the 76th International Astonautical Conress (IAC).
The ability to have a presence at this level shows just how successful South Australia is as a launching pad for startups. The ever-growing ecosystem of not just space startups but high-tech companies that have managed to find a foothold and substantially grow their footprint on an international level is deeply commendable.
Under the new Adelaide University banner, as part of South Australia – the Space to Be!, you will find Craig or Ben eager and ready to talk to you this week. We're also really looking forward to current Venture Catalyst Space participants, Sai and Kathiravan from GroundZero Space presenting at IAC. They'll be talking about next generation tracking systems for enhanced space domain awareness and optimised space traffic management.
A new partnership between the UniSA, Adelaide space start-up RapidBeam, and Japanese space technology company Warpspace is set to accelerate the future of space communications.
The three organisations have signed an agreement to develop next-generation laser communication systems, which promise faster, more secure, and more reliable data transfer than today’s radio-based technologies.

The South Australian Government has unveiled the Defence and Space Landing Pad – UK, strategically located in central London. This initiative offers temporary office space to support South Australian businesses in forging connections within the UK’s defence and space supply chains.
Funding of up to $150,000 is available for two SA based space companies to support innovative projects with commercial potential in terrestrial resources, agriculture, emergency services and health.
