Vinnovate co-founder and Venture Catalyst recipient, Joshua Schmidt was awarded Best Pitch Presenter among a number of other national and international companies at the Land Forces 2016 'Innovation Pitchfest' on 8 September 2016.
Land Forces 2016 Innovation Pitchfest provided an opportunity for the Defence Science and Technology Group, academia and industry researchers, and innovators to present new innovations and research projects to a mix of potential customers, research partners and venture capitalists in the defence industry. It is a collaborative initiative by the Defence Science Institute (Victoria), the Defence Science and Technology Group and Defence SA.
This is the second big win for Vinnovate in 2016, with their technology being named as the top innovation across the Australian and New Zealand wine industry in April, winning the team $35,000 and a chance to work with Pernod Ricard to grow their product.
