Programs
The Innovation & Collaboration Centre is home to Venture Catalyst and the state's first space incubator program Venture Catalyst Space. These programs are designed to help founders start their business.
The Innovation & Collaboration Centre’s (ICC) new elective Startup Studio will equip you with the knowledge and expertise to design and develop a globally scalable business using a blend of advanced business model design and planning, design thinking and ideation.
Forget traditional university classroom settings, Startup Studio is a unique learning experience that immerses you in the world of startups at UniSA's ICC.
At Startup Studio you will be connected with the ICC's community and people who have experienced firsthand what it takes to launch a successful business including industry experts, Entrepreneurs in Residence, and a range of startup founders.
Startup Studio is designed over three parts. Part one consists of a set of workshops as well as formal and informal mentoring sessions. Part two is a two-day weekend intensive experience where you will showcase your concept and pitch to a panel of judges. Part three will consolidate your learning and help you define a strategy that will help you move your business to the next step.
If you have an idea for a business concept or have been looking for an opportunity to contribute your skills towards a startup business, then Startup Studio is the perfect course for you.
Please view the course timetable on the course homepages linked above for all enrolment details.
This is a 4.5 unit intensive course with credit points going towards your degree (subject to degree program rules and/or defined course selections).
